On 1st August Class 11 and 12 pupils planted a number of saplings, mainly Neem, Thuja, Jacaranda, Bamboo, Camphor and Gulmohar in the Institute’s campus. These saplings were donated by The Friends of the Doon society. Mr. Sudhir Vadehra of Friends of the Doon gave expert guidance to the pupils. The pupils learnt a lot about the various tree species, as well as the importance of trees in the ecosystem, and how forests affect the environment and climate of the region.
